A 36 year old man has pleaded guilty before Magistrate Mupemo Phiri in the Choma Magistrate Court for stealing four chickens.
The Charge levelled against him is entering a building and committing a felony contrary to section 303 paragraph (a) Chapter 87 of the Penal Code of the Laws of Zambia.
Brief facts of the matter are that on 10th December, 2017 around 21:00Hours, Boston Bwalya a brick moulder of Choma did enter into Lauryn Muyuni’s kitchen and stole four live chickens therein.
Bwalya narrated to the court that he was in the company of Muyuni’s brother and he is the one that told him to steal the chickens.
Bwalya admitted to having no claim of rights and as such, the court entered a plea of guilty in his own admission.
The Matter comes up on the 20th December, 2017 for facts.
The accused is remanded in custody.
