I am writing this to express my displeasure at the poor services Zamtel is giving to its customers because even when I call customer care, calls go unanswered and if you write them a private message on their Facebook page, there is no response too.

Zamtel for the past year had been offering fast internet especially their ADSL broadband. But the past two weeks their internet has been very bad, it is either too slow or not working at all.

The other week I was informed after making some inquiry in person at a Zamtel outlet that some cables were cut by a company that was installing water pipes but was told the problem was resolved, however the past week, the internet has been pathetic such that I was forced to try and buy bundles to use on my phone, I bought bundles and their mobile internet failed to work too, I just lost my money.

The worst part is that calling Zamtel customer support, nobody answers and they are very much aware about this but they still allow you to call customer care anyway. For the past week 2 weeks my broadband internet hasn’t been working and I pay per month, which means I only used 2 weeks this month and the other 2 weeks I have just lost my money.

It would have been better if they can communicate to us as customers if there is a problem with internet but they have been quiet about it though on Wednesday they posted on their Facebook page that they had a problem with their internet yet yesterday insisted that the problem was already sorted.

Despite making that announcement as a customers who uses their internet the problem is still there.
Now that my Zamtel ADSL internet expires on 22nd December today, I don’t know whether to pay for another subscription because there is no guarantee that the internet will stat working when I pay.

I know I am not alone in this situation but there many other subscribers who are in the same shoe.
