Interesting. Can someone from the protocol office who is not a mindless cadre, please tell Amos that when referring to a president in local (our own president) we do not ever refer to him as “your excellency” or “his excellency”. That is wrong protocol. The term is only used on foreign dignitaries. Do you mean that our president is not ours or is the country not ours?
