WOW! BFlow Visited Inmates For Christmas

Zambian musician B-flow took time to visit the inmates on Christmas during the ‘prison break ‘event that was organised by ZAM in a quest to give prisoners a break.

See his  Facebook post:

“PRISON BREAK ON CHRISTMAS DAY.
When I arrived at Chimbokaila Prison on Christmas day, there was a huge celebration by the inmates. One of the lessons I learnt is that we must never take our freedom for granted. Hearing inmates chant their favourite slogan “one day pobo” (one day we shall be free) made me emotional. They thanked me and the Zambia Association of Musicians (ZAM) for visiting them because even if it was just for a day, they treasure the fact that the day went by so fast. We also had a moment to expose Chimbokaila talent by allowing the prisoners to perform their own songs.
During my one-to-one interactions with the inmates, I learnt that some of them suffer massive emotional pain while in incarceration. For example, one guy who is serving a sentence of 9 years lamented to me and T-Boy how his imprisonment affected his mother. According to him, the mother had never ever seen him commit a crime. So when he got jailed, she became depressed. Months later, she died. To date, he is still dealing with the pain of losing his mother while serving a long jail sentence. He has 5 more months to complete his sentence but he will not be seeing his mother.
The Prison Break Concert at Lusaka Central Correctional Facility (Chimbokaila Prison) was organised by ZAM in a quest to give a break to inmates because they deserve to celebrate Christmas. Happy festive season and remember to visit hospitals, prisons and the needy in the community:(Mathew 25:41) #musicforchange #inspiredtoinspire”

That was good better they know that they are not forgotten, they are just people like any one else however they tripped and fallen one day they will come out , indeed there is hope for every one.
There is room for repentance in fact no one is perfect ! Good to visit such people during their time of loneliness .
