National Democratic Congress NDC consultant Dr. Chishimba kambwili says the newly formed party is not and will never be a bemba political grouping.

Dr. Kambwili is concerned that the Daily Newspaper owned by ex convict Richard Sakala has been writing falsehoods on the NDC.

Dr. Kambwili said sakala has been hired to paint a negative public perception on the NDC so as to sway public perception on the newly formed political grouping that has continued to gain popularity at a super sonic speed.

Dr. Kambwili has told a media briefing in Luanshya today, that contrary to propaganda by the Daily Nation, a state house sponsored media outlet without credibility, the NDC is a national party enjoying support from all corners of Zambia.

Dr. Kambwili says the NDC will not waste it’s energies responding to articles being generated by Sakala and his agent’s because the party is a vanguard grouping with a national character.

Dr. Kambwili has since advised the people of Zambia not to listen to the cheap and hate speech that Sakala and his medium are peddling.

” The NDC will not spend time responding to Richard Sakala. The whole national knows who this character is. We know his bad habits. His ways of corruption. He has been paid to paint the NDC black.

Sakala is simply wasting his time. There’s no difference with what Chanda chimba used to write and broadcast about the late President sata through the infamous stand up for Zambia documentaries. Just like Chanda Chomba, Sakala are just making the NDC more popular. Its sad that sakala and his Daily tabloid are now using chiefs in their mischievous activities to discredit the NDC. As NDC, we won’t bring the name’s of our respected traditional leaders into cheap politicking that sakala and his minions have started. The more sakala keeps peddling lies about the NDC, the more he is making us popular. The people of Zambia are not so naive to be fooled and cheated through newspapers such as the one sakala is running. Its unfortunate sakala never learns. He is only being used”, Dr. Kambwili observed.

Dr. Kambwili said as NDC consultant he is from Northern province whilst NDC secretary General Mwenya Musenge is from luapula province.

He added that the Central committee of the NDC had representation from all the ten regions of the country.

” in fact, the majority of NDC members at central committee are from the Eastern province. So what tribalism is sakala talking about “, Dr kambwili wondered.

Dr. Kambwili said tribalism is a cancer that should never be tolerated.

The NDC believes in the one Zambia one nation slogan that our forefathers preached.

Dr. Kambwili is on record urging NDC members country wide to promote unity and has on countless occasions spoken out on tribalism.

Dr. Kambwili is calling for responsible journalism saying well meaning scribe’s should isolated mischievous activities that sakala and the daily nation are preaching.

The Daily Nation through Richard sakala have began a lone and discredited campaign to try and malign the NDC whose formation has sent shivers to the ranks and files of the Pf.

However, many well meaning citizens have condemned Daily Nation proprietor Richard sakala a longtime disgraced journalist who was known by many in the media fraternity as ” Dick Tricky “, because of being an extremely dishonest individual.

It is on record that Sakala found himself at statehouse as presidential press aide through deceit as the later cheated late president Fredrick Chiluba that had a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism, when in fact not.

Sakala’s can best be described as a citizen journalist as he has never formally received journalism training apart from attending short media workshops spurning for 22 days.

Sakala a disgraced self styled journalist who was convicted for plundering colossal sums of money under the presidential housing initiative PHI.

After being isolated by both local and international journalists, sakala who was on countless occasions detained by the nwanawasa government for corruption scandals was jailed for among other thing’s stealing a liner editing suite belonging to Teveta.

After years of isolation, sakala has now emerged under a statehouse controlled tabloid the Daily Nation, a paper those credibility many have questioned.
