Political Activist Dante Saunders says President Edgar Lungu should take full responsibility of the Kanyama and Ndola riots because he is the one who used draconian means to chase them from the streets.
The visibly distraught Saunders pointed out that the Kanyama and Ndola riots were a manifestation of poor planning by the PF government, saying: “had they handled the street vending issue with care.”
He said it is arbitrary for the PF Media Director Sunday Chanda to accuse the UPND of sponsoring the riots when he knows that the people are reacting to the ruling party failed promises.
He said riots are a sign that people have lost confidence in President Lungu’s leadership.
Saunders was speaking in an interview, where he schooled President Lungu that he cannot fight Cholera by curfews and clearing street vendors because the epidemic is underground.
He said it is unfortunate that Zambians have continued drinking water contaminated with components of feacal matter over 53 years after political independence.
When foolish rioters show a political sign related to a party, of course you should conclude that the party whose symbol was being shown must be held responsible. Time is there for pipo to come and vote so that then they symbolize their party well.
