WBC welterweight boxer Lorita Muzeya says she will take the rematch against Malawi’s Ruth Chisale seriously and aim for a clean win. And Muzeya’s coach Mike Zulu says he will adequately prepare his boxer for the rematch.
“I am ready for the rematch. I will take the rematch seriously because it is a totally different fight and I want to make sure that the win is a clean one,” said Muzeya.
And Zulu said he was not impressed with the boxer’s performance in the fight that was contested by Chisale.
“I will look to it that Lorita is ready for the rematch bout because I was not impressed with her performance in the previous fight,” said Zulu.
Christopher Malunga, who is the Muzeya’s manager, tipped her to win so that she could vie for the WBC title. Muzeya fought Malawian female pugilist Ruth Chisale in a WBC welterweight elimination fight on December 30 last year but has been recalled for a rematch due to “irregularities”.
