Veteran politician Vernon Mwaanga says the president’s suggestion to remove the tribal aspect on the National Registration Cards is trivial.
Dr. Mwaanga wonders why that decision will come about when the tribal aspect on the NRCS has been in existence for so many years.
He tells q news that the move should not be allowed because people have already accepted each other under the “one Zambia one nation” slogan.
Dr. Mwaanga says the decision by the president is ill-advised because various tribes are already living together as one.
He says the head of state should have made wide consultations before coming up with such a decision.
