Ng’oma Urges Lungu, HH to Emulate Kenyatta, Odinga

Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has called on both President Edgar Lungu and opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to take a leaf from Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga for their bold decision to reconcile.

Kenya’s president and opposition leader have promised to begin a process of reconciliation following last year’s bitterly contested election.

Mr. Kenyatta and Mr. Odinga called each other “brothers” during a surprise joint TV address.

Dr. Ng’oma has told QTV News via telephone that Kenya just had elections last year and yet the two leaders have put their country first by starting the reconciliation process.

He says it is worrying that Zambia had elections in 2016 and yet the two main leaders are still antagonist and not showing commitment to reconcile.

Dr. Ng’oma says elections are not there to divide the people.

    Ala Kuti waseka!!

Doc be reminded of just two things that UPND almost emulated about The Orange
opposition party of Kenya lead by Raila Odinga.

-When Raila appealed the electoral result which were subsequently nullified, UPND’s
call for the same be come louder
-Just recently Raila inaugurated himself as Republican President of Kenya under a treasonable act, UPND entertained the idea and almost replicated it.

The question is who should be more co-operative in the so called dialogue process between
    Edgar and Hakainde
