Detective Inspector Mubita Mooya has told Lusaka Principal Resident Magistrate Mwaka Mikalile that he received a letter from Interpol acknowledging a letter of engagement to arrest local artist Chama Fumba popularly known as Pilato.
This followed his notice to the court in the previous sitting that he had engaged Interpol and other investigative wings to arrest Pilato who is reportedly in exile.
Inspector Mubita was giving an explanation to Magistrate Mikalile in the case in which Pilato is jointly charged with Laura Miti, Lewis Mwape, PEP President Sean Tembo, activists Bornwell Mwewa and Mwika Mwambazi for disobeying lawful orders when they protested against the procurement of the 42 fire trucks.
The accused has not been appearing before court and only made a few appearances before plea was taken.
No one is above the law is just to appear Pilato, Will aways be there for you.
