For adopting an adulterer and murder accomplice in Charmaine Musonda as MP.

While the debate is ongoing on the quickness in speaker of the National Assembly’s in declaring vacant the seat held by convicted and death sentenced Honorable Keith Mukata, the Upnd leadership under Hakainde Hichilema and Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba have displayed a lack of morality by allowing the party central committee to accept nomination of a woman who had an adulterous affair with the former member of parliament, a woman who even though acquitted of the same charge that Mukata was sentenced to death for, is an open accomplice in the case.

Accepted yes, that democracy is about numbers, sometimes about financial capacity but the current case of married Keith Mukata’s girlfriend Charmaine Musonda being his immediate probable replacement as member of parliament for Chilanga is a mockery to the former’s family and a show to society that the party leadership is not concerned about the moral standing of candidates but will take on anyone as long as there is a high probability of the person selected winning them a parliamentary seat.

Firstly, Musonda was having an adulterous affair with a married man knowing too well his marital status, and that’s a person they pick as a representative for the community around which she was fornicating around- a mockery to the Chilanga community’s morality.

Secondly, while the courts acquitted Charmaine Musonda of the murder of a security guard, a Namakau Kwenda, her actions and refusal to fully and clearly testify to the whole ideal makes her an accomplice of the aforesaid crime, and to accept the nomination of an accomplice to be a representative of the people in the highest house of discussion in the entire nation a month or two within the conclusion of the murder case in which she had a part is a joke altogether.

Thirdly, It is apparently that the wife and children of former Mp, Hon. Keith Mukata are yet to come to terms with their loved one being sentenced to death and to rub it in their faces by picking a woman who had an immoral relationship with him and is the sole cause for their loss of him to probable death by hanging speaks volumes about the lack of moral consideration by the entire Upnd leadership. And that’s a woman they are and their relatives are expected to vote for.

Lastly, forgiven is Hakainde Hichilema and the Upnd party leadership’s lack of morality when they picked character questioned and lowly educated Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba as running mate ahead of a very educated and character sober Doctor Canisius Banda all to gain the Bemba vote and have his financial contribution but to turn the Chilanga parliamentary seat into a sexually transmitted seat tells us the real nature of the party president Hakainde Hichilema, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba and the entire central committee, and that is that they are no different from the morally defunct Patriotic that has uneducated and character questioned parliamentarians such as senior Bootlicker Bowman Lusambo, and sexually immoral Dora Siliya who recently had an affair with a rich young Congolese married man.

While we are hoping for better from the probable incoming party, the Upnd and it’s leadership than what is being given by the current party in power the Patriotic Front, we are now forced to believe that they have zero zeal to foster good morals among their candidates and supporters. We are now left to accept a precedence of “sex the leader and you will be his/her replacement.”

UPND can do better really and save themselves from political ridicule by correcting this mess of Charmaine being a party candidate for the Chilanga parliamentarian seat.
