The Zambian DNA echoes PF Secretary General’s statement that President Edgar Lungu and his government are on course delivering development to all parts of the country.

Indeed under the able leadership of President Lungu, Zambia has has seen massive infrastructure development rolled out throughout the country without leaving anyone behind.

President Lungu has been on tour of duty commissioning and checking on developmental projects around the country, and has introduced a number of citizens’ empowerment initiatives to improve the welfare of the people.

Further, the Head of State has taken time to hold meetings with various stakeholders to take note of their concerns, among them traditional leaders, political leaders and the Clergy.

We urge the Zambian people to support the President and his government, as they deliver development and citizens’ empowerment programs to improve their welfare.

Meanwhile the Zambian DNA is calling on all political parties to counsel their party cadres to desist from engaging in any form of political violence before, during and after the mayoral elections in Lusaka, Chilanga as well as the other by elections countrywide.

We also call upon the Zambia Police Service to continue with their good work of keeping law and order as they did during the recently held by election in Chilanga.
