Lands Minister Jean Kapata says government is on course to see to it that former Miners who were retrenched two years ago get their plots as soon as possible.
Ms. Kapata has revealed that the construction of the National Land Titling Centre which is based at the Show grounds in Lusaka has been completed saying this will help expedite the process of giving plots to former miners.
And Ms Kapata has explained to Q-News in an interview that the National Titling Centre has deliberately been put up at the show grounds in a bid to enable members of the public to easily have access to Ministry of Land and further acquire their land titles with no difficulties.
Meanwhile Ms. Kapata has disclosed that the law on obtaining land titles will soon be revisited so that the process of getting titles can be made easy.
She states that the Ministry of Lands is revisiting law on land titles so that people can start getting their land titles even before paying the consideration feel.
