The National Restoration Party has adopted Bwalya Nondo as its Lusaka Mayoral Candidate.

NAREP Secretary General, Ezra Ngulube says the party had received four applications from interested candidates which were assessed and interviews were conducted.

Mr Ngulube has stated that NAREP settled for Mr. Nondo who is also party spokesperson after he emerged as the best of all the candidates that had applied.

He says NAREP has taken a bold decision to give to the people of Lusaka a youthful candidate who will have zeal and vigor to diligently serve them.

And Mr Nondo is optimistic of scooping the mayoral seat.

He says he will use his position if elected to legally deal with the corruption at the council.

Mr Nondo states that it is the time to clean up Lusaka of the corruption and greed.
