The Zambian DNA is appalled by some opposition political party leaders’ calls purporting that Zambians want change of government when in fact not.

However, the people of Zambia have made up their minds to support the governing PF as they have proved to be a pro poor working government.

This is evident in the results of recently held by elections countrywide where the governing PF scooped almost all the seats, signifying that the ruling party still remains the party of choice in Zambia.

Indeed, the government have rolled out robust infrastructure development throughout the whole country without leaving anyone behind.

Further,a number of citizens’ empowerment initiatives have been rolled out nationwide, thus improving the livelihood of the women, the youth and the vulnerable in our society.

In view of the foregoing, it is abundantly clear that that the people of Zambia do not seek regime change as purported by some disgruntled opposition political party leaders.

We are alive to the fact that President Edgar Lungu has been on tour of duty to check on various developmental projects around the country, holding meetings with traditional leaders, the clergy and ordinary citizens.

We urge the Zambian people to rally around the Head of State and his government as he means well for this nation, and not to be swayed by bitter and disgruntled opposition political party leaders who have absolutely nothing to offer the people of Zambia.

We also advise the opposition party leaders to be sober when dealing with national issues, and stop playing cheap politics on issues that affect the welfare of the people of Zambia.
