Caristo Chitamfya Family Appeals To Zambians To Ignore Social Media Rumours

The Chitamfya family has asked members of the public to treat rumours and allegations over their late son’s death Caristo Chitamfya Junior as fabricated stories.

According to a statement issued by Family Spokesperson Florence Vumo, the family is disappointed with how members of the public have reacted to the stories on social media.

Ms. Vumo says Caristo Chitamfya Junior was a God-fearing young man and had no problem or issue with anyone.

She adds that it is sad that people chose to spread defaming rumours that he was involved in Satanism.

The Family Spokesperson has described the social media publicity on the untimely death of Caristo from the time of the accident as unnecessary.

Ms. Vumo says the family has forgiven all those who defamed their son as was he was a forgiving person.

The popular radio DJ Caristo Clear died in a road accident on Thursday morning when the vehicle he was driving hit into a light truck on Great East Road.
