Inspector of Police, Kakoma Kanganja says Police officers have been stationed in all the eight (8) constituencies in Lusaka ahead of the Mayoral by-election slated for July 26, 2018.
Mr. Kanganja has told Q-news in an interview that the officers will help provide security during the by-election.
He has warned that Police will not tolerate any violence during the campaign period and on poll day.
Mr. Kanganja has since advised political parties’ sympathizers to stay away from violence.
Meanwhile Mr. Kanganja has condemned some political parties inciting political violence.

Meanwhile Mr kanganja has warned political parties inciting violence!. Already this is off the mark because he is talking about the UPND’s insistence on self defense. Mr Kanjanja UPND is not advocating for violence all they are saying is that, they will defend themselves in the event that they are attacked, so your tunnel vision should be to stop these attacks by of course the PF, then there will be no retaliation.
