THIRTY-TWO- YEAR- OLD woman of Kitwe has complained before the local court that she has never found satisfaction from sleeping with her husband ever since he married her five years ago.
The complaint was made in a case in which Milton Mayuya, 36, sued Linda Njovu for divorce on grounds that they have been on separation for three years.
The two got married in 2013 and they have one child together.
In her defence, Njovu told the court that she has never enjoyed her marriage due to her husband’s inability to perform in bed.
She also accused her husband of not financially supporting his family and claimed he only gives her K20 per month to buy groceries.
Njovu said she has tried to ask for capital from her husband so that she can start a business but that he does not support her idea.
“I have never been happy in my marriage because my husband has failed to sexually satisfy me. It is even a miracle that we have a child because he never lasts long when we are being intimate,” she said.
Earlier, Mayuya accused his wife of being promiscuous saying she spent a night outside their matrimonial home without him knowing her whereabouts.
He said when she returned home the following day, he chased her away and told her to only return home with her parents.
Mayuya said his wife never returned home but instead started working in bar.
He told the court to grant them divorce because they have now lived apart for three years.
Kitwe senior local court magistrate Fredrick Ndhlovu granted the couple divorce on grounds that the two were not willing to reconcile.
He also ordered Mayuya to compensate his wife with K5,000.
