This is a case where a woman was  told by her prophet that her husband was cheating on her.  The woman stopped performing her duties as a wife and the mother of their home and this is now leading to a marriage break up. See the story below:

A 36-year old man of Kitwe has narrated before the local court how his wife stopped performing household chores after a pastor prophesied to her that her husband was having an affair with another woman.

Appearing before Kitwe senior local court magistrate Mwinda Muyunda was Stanley Mulenga who sued Ireen Chileshe, 30 for, divorce on grounds that he no longer loves his wife. The two got married in 2009 and they have three children together. Mulenga told the court that all was well in their marriage until his wife’s attitude changed.

He told the court that his wife stopped washing and cooking for him, making him to rely on their maid for everything.
Mulenga told the court when he asked his wife about her behaviour, she said that she could no longer perform house chores because she was hurt that he was cheating on her.

He said when he further queried her on her allegations, she told him that her pastor, who was a prophet had told her that he was cheating on her.
“I want the court to end our marriage because I no longer love my wife. All my wife does is to accuse me of being promiscuous, as we are talking now, we have stayed for two years without being intimate,” Mulenga said.

And Chileshe asked the court not to end her marriage because she still loves her husband despite his promiscuous behaviour.
She told the court that she has on several occasions found love messages in her husband’s phone. Chileshe also accused her husband of changing his behaviour just after his business started thriving.
