The proposed citizens’ revolution to remove PF from power attributed to Alliance for Community Action (ACA)’s Laura Miti by a known Tabloid is not only unfortunate, misleading, ill-conceived, unconstitutional, but also incites Zambians to rise against their elected government.

However, Zambia is constitutional democracy in which citizens are free to vote for a political party of their choice.

While we appreciate that all citizens are free to align themselves to any political party, we do not support an ill-conceived agenda to remove a democratically elected Government.

Zambian DNA is appalled that the said ACA leader and other civil society leaders are agitating for a regime change when the current PF’s mandate expires in 2021.

Further, we are also alive to the fact that the said civil society leaders are known to be critics of Government .They oppose everything Government says and does.

We advise those civil society and opposition political party leaders agitating for a regime change via the alleged ‘citizens’ revolution ‘that there is already a revolution under way in the country.

The governing PF under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu has embarked on country wide all-inclusive infrastructure development ‘revolution’ without leaving anyone behind.

We urge all Zambians to ignore the ranting of the said civil society and opposition political party leaders, and support the PF Government they voted for in 2011, 2015 and 2016 as they mean well for this country.
