Motivation Speaker Nawa Files For Divorce

MOTIVATIONAL speaker Mubita Nawa has petitioned the Lusaka High Court to dissolve his 13-year-old marriage with Chikokolo Nawa on grounds that she has caused unbearable pain and misery to his life.
Mr Nawa states that the two got married in 2006 in Texas, United Stated of America, and have three children.
He says the last two years of their marriage have been characterised by lack of intimacy and passion.
In a statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court, Mr Nawa says his wife has been abusing him and denying him conjugal rights.
Mr Nawa argues that his relationship with his wife has never been at its best and that the situation has made him realise that there is no love in their marriage.
“After the last reconciliation, the situation did not significantly improve and I have realised that my feelings towards my wife have been adversely affected by her behaviour over the years,” thestatement of claim reads in part.
Mr Nawa claims that his wife has conducted herself in a manner that has caused him embarrassment and contempt to both his and her relatives, friends and neighbours.
He says the pain and misery he has suffered at the hands of his wife are now unbearable.
Mr Nawa prays that the court will dissolve his marriage and grant him custody of their children.
He has also appealed to the court to make an order on how the couple’s properties will be shared.
Mr Nawa also wants each party to bear its own costs.
