THE Mansa High Court has sentenced a 40-year-old man of Samfya to 30 years imprisonment with hard labour for having carnal knowledge of his 15-year-old daughter whom he had promised to marry.

High Court judge Yvonne Chembe was saddened that Micheck Kapata could have sex with his daughter and promise her marriage.
Justice Chembe sent Kapata to jail for committing incest.
Kapata committed the offence between April and October last year when he wilfully and unlawfully lured his daughter into the act.
