His worship Miles Sampa earlier today in a statement via his Facebook account apologised for a number of issues as well as confirming that we would be closing down his personal social media accounts

“I regret and am sorry to all that had reservations on my response out of the ordeal. It was poor judgement on my part and I take full responsibility.”Mr Sampa stated.

Mr Sampa who had previously been involved in a slight altercation with PF youths, responded by posting a photo holding a small pistol, with the caption that it would be used to defend himself incase of any future threats to his safety.

“As to my young brothers that attacked me, I hereby forgive them unconditionally and look forward to enjoying brotherhood and love with them. I therefore withdraw my formal complaint I lodged on them yesterday.” Mr Sampa went on to state in his Facebook post.

“In line with good order and decorum of the Office of Mayor, I will be shutting my personal social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter. All my communications will be via the Lusaka City Council official channels.
