Vice President, Inonge Wina and Information Minister, Hon. Dora Siliya this afternoon launched the Village TV in Western Province.

The launch of the Village TV in Western Province was held at Lweti School and Sinungu Primary School.

This has cheered many residents of Mongu and have applauded government for launching the Village TV in the area.

Earlier on, over 120 members of the Opposition UPND lead by Mongu UPND District Chairman Charles Akende and Mr Mukololo Mwanagana defected to the ruling PF.

“We have decided to move to the ruling PF because that is where development is, we want to work with those in power in order to foster development for our people, and the only way we can do so is by working with the PF and President Lungu.” Mr Charles Akende said.

The defectors have described the ruling PF as an unstoppable movement and applauded President Edgar Lungu for his good and quality leadership.
