United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia leader Charles Chanda has dared the Patriotic Front(PF) to sue him if he is lying that they imposed their candidate on the residents of Kasenegwa.
And Mr Chanda says the PF does not care for the farmers and rural dwellers as witnessed by the reduction of the maize floor price that has pushed mealie-prices down, satisfying “nshima lovers” in the urban areas.
And Mr Chanda lit up and should hope to hopeless people of Chinkankata after he pledged educational support constrained children as he received defectors from the United Party for National Development(UPND).

Speaking when he appeared on 5FM programme dubbed the Burning Issue, Mr Chanda was asked by the presenter if he was ready to be sued following his persistent allegations that the PF manipulated the results of the Kasenengwa elections hence should come out in the open and in truth.
He response, Mr Chanda said as long as he is telling the truth, he is ready to face any judge in the world and that he stands by his word.
He said the elections were manipulated, adding that he has overwhelming evidence to substantiate his claim.
“I don’t have a problem, they are going to expose themselves. I have evidence, I don’t have a problem. All I am saying is that they must come out in the open. I am challenging the ECZ, they are listening, I am challenging the Chairman of ECZ(Esau Chulu). He must produce the list of people that came from his office because I know the list of the number of ECZ officers who came. I am challenging him.
Asked why he has not considered writing the ECZ a protest letter to put facts on record, Mr Chanda said he would not risk that routes because “birds of the same feathers flock together”.
“The issue is how do you write to ECZ because ECZ is part of the scheme. It doesn’t make sense. All I am saying is, we are working on the strategy. This cheating business will no longer be there. In Mangango there are by-elections, if the PF will make a mistake of sending thugs there in Mangango as they did in Kasenengwa to send thugs there to cause violence…I am not saying anything but all I am saying is that, if they make that mistake again, it will be regrettable. We have to find a way because the only way we can deal with this violence, we want to get the people on the ground. People must arise and defend their votes. We cannot allow a situation where some people with impunity will continue doing anything they want. With courts, I don’t have a problem with courts. Any one can take me to court, I have no problem because I have enough evidence, video footage…are you aware that we videotaped their own chairman driving a white Hilux distributing money to women. I have all the evidence but all I am saying is that it is a waste of time, going to the courts will do the same thing because they work under instructions,”
He insisted that the ten thousand plus votes scored by the PF were artificial results.
Mr Chanda said if the PF are popular, there is no way that they were going to be buying people on the day of voting.
“This results you are saying that the PF got ten thousand votes is far from the truth and conscious must come at play. You have a Cabinet that has the Minister of Religious Affairs. You know what that means, it means that you have Jesus in Cabinet. If there is Jesus in Cabinet, there must be an element, a level of truth. If the Patriotic Front really respect GOD, that is why they have given us a portfolio of Religious Affairs Ministry, then they should be able to say that yes, apapena twalibepa(here we lied). They know what they did how can you be buying votes on the day of elections? We have got evidence, we planted people. Some of the people who were given money are our people. They were given Hundred Kwachas and meali-meal.
Mr Chanda said once elected President of the Republic of Zambia, he will set a commission of Inquiry on electoral fraud and violence
He promised that the commission will bring to book officers from the Office of the President that are used to manipulate election figures.
And after the radio interview, Mr Chanda rushed to Chikankata where thousands of people including defectors from the UPND had gathered to welcome him.
Mr Chanda gave the message of hope to children and youths of Chikankata.
“We want to bring development to Chikankata District. I can see a lot of young people here. I am going to ask a committee for a favour. I want the committee to go round the community and see which children don’t go to school. I want to see children who failed grade seven and they want to go back to school. I want to see Children who passed grade 12 and they want to go to college.
He added that
UPPZ is a party that respects farmers as opposed to the PF that does not care about them.
“We are going to help you and this year, we have a programme for farmers. We have a programme of giving free seeds to farmers. We want you to be in groups of fours so that we can help you with seeds. We love you as citizens and welcome you to UPPZ,” he said.
Mr Chanda extended the gesture to women whom told to form clubs which the party will support financially.
“I want also to appeal to women, you have to form clubs. We are going to finance those clubs. You must be in the groups of twenties,” he said.
He said it was his desire for the people of Chikankata to live better lives.
“I was told there were problems here. There was a problem of a clinic. And I came to the community because I am not just a Zambian but I am a Zambian who loves Zambia. I don’t have too much money like my friends but I care for Zambians. I donated 100 pockets of cement for the construction of the clinic but the Government refused, the Government refused the gift of Mr Chanda because I am not a Chinese. Government would rather go to China to ask for a gift but they would not accept a gift from a Zambian. What kind of Government is this that doesn’t want Zambians to contribute. The same government is looking for my tax but it doesn’t want a gift from me and I am telling the brother men that Mr Chanda is not greedy. If the Government is selfish, Mr Chanda is not selfish. We want to promise .
He welcomed defectors and urged them to mobilise the party ahead of the 2021 polls.
“2021 is coming and I will contest for the position of Presidency. We want you to mobilise your family and friends. Tell them that ‘we must give a vote to Charles Chanda,” he said
