The Choma Local Court has heard the recorded confession in a case where a 27 year old taxi driver has sued his best friend for sleeping with his wife.
This a case where Sautu Simachembele presented the recording in court, sending the courtroom in total silence as the defendant could be heard clearly talking about giving his best friend’s wife K5 for airtime.
The confession also revealed the defendant complaining to his friend how his wife would constantly call him after their first sexual encounter on Christmas day.
The defendant is also heard telling his friend how he slept with his wife in his taxi.
He is on the same recording praising her as a good woman for coming out about their adulterous relationship, an indication which he says entails she loves the plaintiff.
Simachembele has sued Olick Kasambuluka claiming K15, 000 in compensation on allegations that his best friend has been committing adultery with his wife.
