The Committee of Ministers on Economic Affairs has formally approved the proposal to construct two Cargo Airports in central province.

Central Province Permanent Secretary Chanda Kabwe has disclosed that what remains now is for the Ministry of Finance to conclude its engagements with the financiers of the project.

Mr. Kabwe has told Q news that he is optimistic that once issues to do with the financiers have been finalized, the contractor will move on site to commence the construction works.

He says one airport will be constructed in Kabwe with the other one in Itezhi tezhi.
