A Man of Bulangililo township in Kitwe last week narrated how he stripped himself naked before his sister-in-law after she told him that he does not shave. Ben Kamisa was testifying in a case in which his sister-in-law Belinda Mwani sued him for compensation for insults. Kamisa testified before the Bulangililo Local Court that he has never shared a good relationship with Mwani because her husband, who is his brother does not get along with him. Kamisa denied insulting at Mwani.

He told the court that in August this year, he was on his way to buy cigarettes when his friends informed him that a woman was looking for him.
Kamisa said as he was trying to get more details of the person that was looking for him, Mwani approached him and started insulting him as they were standing beside the road. “My sister-in-law told me that my private part is hairy and this made me so upset that I ended up stripping naked because I wanted her to verify the words she uttered,” he said.

And Mwani told the court that problems between the two of them started when Kamisa’s wife stole her money. She told the court that she opted to report Kamisa’s wife to the police because she refused to repay her. Mwani said when Kamisa heard about the issue, he allegedly went to insult at her house.

She told the court that Kamisa also went as far as breaking household property. And Bulangililo senior local court magistrate Kambole Nyoni reconciled the two and urged them to live in harmony. Magistrate Nyoni also asked them to ensure that they resolve their differences as a family.
