The developer in Kalingalinga claims his bought the land including the back access road for the shops along Alick Nkata road to the point of barricading the backdoors with roofing sheets. They have also cut the water for the clinic, pharmacy and restaurant which are some of the businesses there claiming that he does not want council pipes on his property. The people in these businesses incase of fire only have one exit and cant even dispose their waste

The intimidation started after owners of the shops refused to sell after being approached by a Mr Bwalya cell number +260977575210.

A council poster included in the attached photos was only erected last week after the developer had already blocked the area with no consultation with the business community around the area.
