STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT LUNGU’S HALLMARK OF A GREAT STATESMAN

Zambian DNA is delighted that President Edgar Lungu has been consistent in reminding the Zambian people, just like the PF founding father, late President Michael Sata, that we are one regardless of our political or religious affiliation.

Indeed, this is the hallmark of a great statesman as he demonstrates that he cares for the people he leads.

Further, President Lungu does not only remind the nation that we are one people, exhibits the traits of love, peace, and unity, but also accommodates divergent views.

However, we expect other politicians to emulate his leadership style by promoting love, peace and unity in the country, and not dividing the nation by careless talk and promoting hate-speech.
