Inspector General of police Kakoma Kanganja has recommended for the dismissal of a traffic police officer who has been captured brutalising an motorist inside a vehicle.
Kanganja stated that the officer identified as Constable Brian Nkoma of Lusaka Division Traffic does not deserve to be in the police service.
The officer has been captured in a 28 seconds video currently circulating on social media showing man of of Asian decent being insulted by a fuming officer.
“The officer doesn’t deserve to be in the police service. I have already recommended for his dismissal with immediate effect,” Kanganja stated.
Details about the cause of confrontation between the officer and the motorist or the person who filmed the incident still remain unclear.
