Embattled EEP leader Chilufya Tayali has rubbished online media claims that he has being appointed  in the Foreign Service by President Lungu.

A known anti UPND online media  posted a story that Tayali has fooled Hakainde Hichilema to forgive him for court cases to get a job in foreign service.

The talkative opposition leader  has cleared the air by saying that his apology to HH was genuine and there was no malice.

Below is a statement he posted an hour ago.

Many times we come up with speculations and make them look like it is the truth. Many of the corruption cases in the public domain which send some opposition leaders to protest or speak for hours on Radio or TV are usually not true, they are simply speculations or falsehoods.

We need to start thinking critically and question some of these things before we believe them.

Yes, I sold properties simply because I couldn’t stay with those things after Mr. Mugwagwa, the bailiff, came and grabbed them and threw them in the warehouse. Trust me the experience was not very nice and I would like a new start.

The bailiffs made me realize how vulnerable I have become since I started politics. Therefore, I have taken a break to think of how I will balance politics and my livelihood.

I am out here consulting, like from this lady I am sitting with, so that when I come I will be re-energized and focused.

For me to focus, I don’t need to be going back and forth in courts while Kaisa Sulu and his friends are eating Chinese money alone.

Contrary to what most of you used to accuse me of, PF was not really bankrolling me to talk about HH, it was just me slowing him down, but, at one point I asked myself, for what? I would rather be neutral and see who I can work with as long as some of those things I desire for myself and Zambians is taken into considerations.

Trust me, as I come back in a New Year, I will be ready to work with anyone, and that is why I made those apologies.

For now, let me continue consulting, I got tired of trying abena Misozi, Tilyenji, Cerena and sing baby come take me for Tasila.
