THE Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) is disappointed with the Church for going ahead with last Friday’s consultative meeting with leaders of selected political parties without its blessings.
And ZCID has called on stakeholders not to use the national political dialogue to push for regime change.
ZCID spokesperson Jackson Silavwe said in an interview yesterday called for mutual respect between ZCID and the Church if the national dialogue is to succeed.
Mr Silavwe also said the planned launch of the national dialogue set for Saturday will not take place if the Church does not finalise agenda items and other pending issues with ZCID.
