DITECH Engineering Limited, a Zambian company, has set aside US$1.4 million to build a three-star hotel and business park in Mansa.
Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa said in an interview that the establishment of the hotel will promote tourism and improve the economic status of the region.
The minister said the land where the hotel will be built has already been identified and works are expected to start in April this year.
