A Lusaka police officer who ranaway after shooting dead his fellow police officer has warned that he may be forced to commit sucide if the police command keep on hanting for him.

Constable Kabasiya who is believed to be hinding in Livingstone, said in several text messages to senior police officers that he was ready to kill himself than handing himself over to people he knows will kill him too in prison.

He warned that if the police keep on hanting for him, he may just kill himself. “So stop threatening me, i will kill myself…I shot my friend accidentally”, he wrote in some of his several text messages.
