A 28-YEAR-OLD pastor of Meanwood in Lusaka has been dragged to court for allegedly sodomising a woman and assaulting her.
This in a matter Francis Mukuwa has been charged with unnatural offences and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It is alleged that between December 1 last year and January 2 this year, Musukwa had unlawful carnal knowledge of a woman against the order of nature.
In count two, on January 2 this year, Mukuwa allegedly assaulted the woman and occasioned her actual bodily harm.
When the matter came up before Lusaka magistrate Faides Hamaundu yesterday, Mukuwa could not take plea because he was not before court.
The case was adjourned to Wednesday next week for possible plea.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy of SOS in Lusaka is appearing in the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court for allegedly committing unnatural offences.
It is alleged that on December 3 last year in Lusaka, the juvenile had unlawful carnal knowledge of another juvenile against the order of nature.
But the boy failed to take plea before magistrate Ruth Kapolo because the court asked for verification of his age.
The matter has been adjourned to January 28 for possible plea.
