The Zambia DNA commends President Edgar Chagwa Lungu for the directive to have People’s Party president Mike Mulongoti evacuated for specialist treatment in South Africa.
We also wish president Mulongoti speedy and full recovery.
However, President Lungu has once again demonstrated that he is a caring Head of State with the heart of the people of Zambia regardless of tribe, religious and political affiliation. More so faced by Mr Mulongoti’s partisan stance against the Republican President and the Patriotic Front(PF) Government, the President did overlook his critic’s stance against him and shown love and compassion to Mr Mulongoti.
