Mines minister Richard Musukwa has directed Nkana Alloy and Chapamo the two companies conducting operations at the black mountain in Kitwe to immediately resolve and respect the boundaries.
Mr. Musukwa says the technical team at the ministry of mines will on Monday conduct a survey and put beacons that will distinctively separate the two sides.
He says Government is however happy that Nkana Alloy and Chapamo are conducting operations in harmony.
And Mr. Musukwa has directed Chapamo to cover their trucks and prevent spillages of the material on the road.
He says the ministry of mines has received 17 complaints from motorists who have had their windshields broken by trucks carrying material from the black mountain.
The minister has threatened to reduce the number of trucks that load at the black mountain if Chapamo fails to comply with the directive.
He was speaking in Kitwe when he visited the black mountain after he received complaints from Nkana Alloy who alleged that Chapamo has gone beyond its boundary at the black mountain.
