Lusaka Pastor In Sex Scandal Says Sorry for Bonking Married Church Member Woman

A Lusaka Pastor at the centre of a sex scandal says he is gravely sorry for the mistake and has asked the man whose wife he had an affair with to forgive him. Brian Chama who was Pastor at Hope Ministries in PHI residential area confessed to having an affair with Zaliwe Daka after a church member exposed the matter.

Pastor Chama disclosed that he met Zaliwe in 2015 and began an affair a year later. He said the relationship was discovered by Zaliwe’s husband after coming across phone chats between them.
“I felt I had lost everything and felt I could do anything. I didn’t have my family, I didn’t have the church, I thought what was I going to be doing? he said.
About three days ago, pastor Chama met Mr Siwale at a meeting arranged by the church, where he apologised over the affair.
“I have betrayed him and even when I saw him in the meeting, I could not hold my tears. It was painful because I should have protected him. It doesn’t matter if it was the wife who came or I went for her, either way the power was with me to protect him,” he said.

“I am gravely sorry. If I could turn back time, I could do it differently but what is spilled is spilled. I can’t do anything. I am not sorry because my reputation is gone, I am not sorry because I don’t have the church or because my family is gone. I am sorry because I have hurt my fellow man,” he said.

Pastor Chama said he had no-one to talk to except God. He said he had made mistakes before, but “this is grave because I have lost everything”.
“I have lost my family. My wife is gone and has made it clear that she is not coming back,” he said, pushing back tears. Mr Siwale last week turned to Facebook to expose the illicit affair between his wife and pastor Chama.
