‘My Wife Pulled My Manhood In Public’, Renowned Pastor Files For Divorce

A pastor  of Apostolic Faith Church has sued for divorce after a demon allegedly manifested in his wife and said that she wants to destroy his life and ministry.
Limfungo Limfungo, 59, told magistrate Lewis Mumba sitting with Nancy Ngoma and Ruth Masanga that he and some church members took his wife for prayers to a mountain when a demon manifested in his wife, Moola Mwanang’ombe, 40.
‘‘I was shocked when a demon in my wife told me that it wants to destroy my marriage, ministry, life and that of my children. My wife behaves as though she is demon possessed,” he said.

Limfungo, who is also the provincial overseer of Apostolic Faith Church, told the court that his wife wears tight clothes and does not portray the character of pastor’s wife. The couple got married in 2016 and has no child together. He told the court that his wife at one point called him a wizard when her daughter fell ill.

Limfungo told the court that he suspects the demon in his wife is powerful because she has not changed despite being prayed for on several occasions.
He told the court that there was a time when his wife pulled his manhood in public during a quarrel. “I am tired of my wife’s behaviour, it’s better we divorce before she destroys me. Already she hates my children. She has picked up quarrels with many people in my neighbourhood,” Limfungo said.
He told the court that his wife splashed water at church members who had gathered for prayers at his home.

But Mwanang’ombe, in her defence, told the court that Limfungo does not treat her like a wife. “My husband gets advice from his children and not me. He also supports his children whenever they do something wrong,” she said. Mwanang’ombe told the court that Limfungo likes sharing bedroom secrets with his children.

She told the court that he shouts at her in the presence of his children. Mwanang’ombe told the court that she still loves her husband and does not want to divorce him. “I have no-one to look after me when we divorce. Moreover, I am pregnant and no-one will look after my child,” she said.
In passing judgement, the court granted a free divorce and ordered the couple to share all
