UPND Wins Sesheke With A Landslide

United Party for National Development’s Romeo Kang’ombe has won the Sesheke Parliamentary By-election with results from 8 Polling Stations still uncounted.

The opposition party polled 7, 768 from 35 out of 43 polling stations counted while Patriotic Front’s Dean Masule was trailing with 3, 297.

Sesheke Constituency Returning Officer, Joseph Kanyemba has declared Kang’ombe winner of the seat with eight polling still uncounted.

Kanyemba reveals that the 3, 164 registered voters from the uncounted polling stations would not have an impact on election outcome.

11, 419 people cast their vote in Sesheke with 76 rejected ballots
