Am urging the Chirundu traffic police to Intensify road patrol on the Kafue – Chirundu road.

Both the Siavonga, Chikankanta and Chirundu traffic police must immediately put their heads together and stop indiscipline, careless and dangerous truck drivers using the Kafue – Chirundu road.

The road traffic accidents that we have continued recording on this road on dairy basis can be avoided only if our men and women in uniform seriously take drastic and serious measures against indiscipline drivers who have no regard for other road users on this road.

I have been a victim on about four occasions while driving on the same Kafue-Chirundu road, and I have been reporting these incidents to the police, the recent incident was on Sunday 10Th February, 2019.These road accidents that we are recording on this road can be avoided.

The police must come up with serious punishment that will stop would be offenders.
