TWO men of Serenje have been separately sentenced to death by hanging for the brutal murder of their grandmothers on suspicion that they were witches.
The convicts are Mathews Mwansa, 22, and Elude Nkundu, 26.
Mwansa killed his 81-year-old grandmother Sofia Kalunga on May 18, 2018 using a handle of an axe after accusing her of killing his daughter.
