Zambian DNA joins those that have condemned NDC leader and consultant Chishimba Kambwili following a video clip (that has gone viral on the social media) depicting him shouting at a construction worker believed to be of Indian origin.

Kambwili‘s unwarranted verbal attack unleashed on a person believed to be of Indian origin holds the potential to ignite the xenophobia against Zambian nationals in the Diaspora especially that his own spouse and family are currently living and working in the United Kingdom(UK).

However, every right -thinking Zambian expects the Roan Member of Parliament (MP) and former Cabinet Minister, who is also vying for the highest office in the land, to conduct himself in the manner befitting his status in society.

We advise Kambwili to refrain from issuing racial derogatory remarks as that is against our national values and principles.
