It is sheer hypocrisy for the UPND led Alliance to purport that President Lungu, Home Affairs Minister and other State House staff are

the ones who allegedly fomented the political violence in Sesheke, when in fact not as the UPND are the ones who perpetrated the said violence in Sesheke.

It is also unfortunate that the UPND led Alliance plan to report the Head of State, Home Affairs Minister and other State House staff to the International Criminal Court ( ICC ) for the Sesheke violence when in fact it is the UPND who are supposed to be reported to the ICC for perpetrating political violence not only in Sesheke but also in other elections in the past.

Moreso, the UPND leader and others in the UPND led Alliance have never condemned political violence, whist President Lungu and other party leaders in the PF are on record of condemning political violence while the UPND leadership have embraced slogans such as the MAPATZYA FORMULAR and PANGA FOR PANGA which promote political violence.

Further, it is also regrettable that the UPND led Alliance alleges that there is a break down of law and order in Zambia when in fact not as there is a government in place that is on top of things.

We advise the UPND led Alliance to focus their energies on addressing critical national issues and their dwindling political fortunes than peddling falsehoods against their own country.

We are alive to the fact that Hakainde Hichilema and his UPND led Alliance are in a panic mode as they are fully aware of the UPND leader losing the 2021 elections to President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

We appeal to the Zambian people not to entertain the falsehoods and lies of the UPND led Alliance and continue supporting President Lungu as he leads Zambia to higher heights.
