Garbage Collector In Court for Stealing Fire Extinguisher From Lodge

A 29-year-old garbage collector of Lusaka’s Chainda Compound has been dragged to court for allegedly stealing a fire extinguisher, six doormats, a teapot, cups and other items all valued at K2,300, from Dover lodge.

This is a matter in which Kelly Chulu is facing one count of breaking into a building and committing a felony.

Particulars of the offence are that on February 15, this year, in Lusaka, Chulu jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown did break and enter into Dover lodge and stole a fire extinguisher, six doormats, a teapot, two cups, kettle, a pair of trousers and two containers, all together valued at K2,300.

Chulu will take plea soon.
