United Party for National Development President Hakainde Hichilema has challenged any Zambian with Proof that he sold mines during privatization period to report him to Authorities.
Mr. Hichilema says he will build a house of any choice so long the person takes the proof to the Police for him to be arrested.
Speaking to Zambian Watch in an Interview Yesterday, Mr. Hichilema challenged Zambians who are accusing him of selling the mines to report him to the police.
He says he stands ready to build a house of choice to an individual who will take that step to report him and produce evidence.
Mr. Hichilema says he has never been in government to sell any mines.
He says he want Zambians to have a clear picture that he did not sell any mines and that allegations are just Propaganda created by his competitors because they have nothing to cheat the people of Zambia.
“The PF is a failed leadership, we all know that. We have a government that is blaming a simple Hakainde Hichilema for everything. Today they say i have increased the fuel, tomoorow they will say i have brought hunger. You see it everyday. How can you have a leadership that is blaming me for their bad economic policies? You will hear them saying Hakainde Hichilema has sold mines. They have run out of ideas on how to cheat the zambian people. People are now clever and can not be cheated” he said.
“I have been hearing this story about mines, they say i have sold the mines, but todate no one has ever since surmoned me for questioning. But i want to appeal to any Zambian who has evidence and proof that i sold mines to come forward and report me to Authorities. I can promise to build a house of choice for that person. That person with evidence might help people understand that Hichilema is innocent. But no one will show up, they fear that once im reported and taken to court, i will be found not to have had a hand, they dont want that because they use that as a tool to gain political mileage” he said.
And Mr. Hichielama says his duty when he is elected President in 2021, he and his administration want to create over 40,000 direct jobs for youths.
Mr. Hichilema says their is a high rate of qualified youths who need jobs and empowerment.
