A named man of Chililabombwe has been swindled out of K500 by people masquerading as Mulonga Water and Sewerage Company officials.

Mulonga Public Relations Manager Deborah Kangende has confirmed that the victim was promised a job by someone claiming to be an official from Mulonga.

Ms Kangende said furthermore other individuals are collecting money from customers on the pretext of providing services.

“We disassociate ourselves from those people. Mulonga doesn’t have mobile cashers and we don’t charge to employ someone,” she said.

She told Radio Icengelo News that people should be wary of such individuals.
