The case in which NDC consultant Dr Chishimba Kambwili, who is also former Member of parliament for Roan Constituency and Avic Workers were dragged to court for unlawful assembly came up this morning in Luanshya.

The court quashed all charges inflicted on Kambwili and AVIC workers and set them free.

Dr Kambwili was accompanied by incoming member of parliament for Roan, Joseph Chishala, MCC Incharge of mobilisation Christopher Mutale, Famous Kabwe, his lawyers Christopher Mundia and Caristo Munkonka.

Upon arrival at court Dr Kambwili was welcomed by a score of NDC sympathizers and supporters.

This is in a case were Dr Kambwili and 11 other Avic workers were taken to court for unlawfully assembly.

The magistrate received information from the DPP to discontinue the case.

The magistrate therefore entered nolle.
