The Patriotic Front -PF- has dispelled reports that it has bought UPND Vice President Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba popularly known as GBM.

PF Media Director Sunday Chanda says reports that Mr. Mwamba has been bought for 50 million US Dollars are malicious.

Mr. Chanda says the PF is Not in the business of buying people’s support.

He said there are reports that Mr. Mwamba will challenge UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema at the party’s convention and some people are jittery that the former Kasama MP might cause an upset.

And Mr. Chanda said Mr. Hichilema’s claims that he will reinstate all civil servant who have fired in national interest are misleading.

He has told ZNBC News in a statement that he expects Mr. Hichilema to offer responsible opposition to government by encouraging professionalism in the civil service.
